Title |
RNA sequencing of splenic B cell populations prevalent in Py-infected mice |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Purpose: To peform genome wide transcriptomic analyses and compare the expression profile among Plasmablasts, activated B cells and resting B cells obtained form the spleens of Plasmodium yoelli infected mice on day 10
|
|
|
Overall design |
12 C57BL/6 mice obtained from Jackson laboratories were infected with 1 million Plasmodium yoelii paratized RBCs. ON day 10 post infection, spleens were harvested and three different B cell populations ( plasmablasts, activated B cells and resting B cells) were flow sorted, total RNA extracted and sequenced.
