Summary We compare isolated trigger hairs from Venus flytrap leaves to whole trap tissue (with trigger hairs removed) to find differentially-expressed transcripts.
 
Overall design Paired trigger hair and whole trap samples were collected in triplicate, and stranded mRNA libraries sequenced and compared.
