The secretome of y-irradiated peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) is well known for its pleiotropic effects on tissue protection and regeneration. Overall design
In total 72 samples obtained from four healthy donors were analysed (0h= cells immediately after purification, 24h_0Gy = cells cultivated for 24 hours without prior radiation; 24h_60Gy = cell cultivated for 24 hours after irradiation with 60Gy). At each time point six different cell populations were analysed (unseparated PBMC, and separated PBMC subsets: CD4, CD8, CD14; CD19; CD56).
