Title |
First global gene expression profile analysis of the intestinal stem cell (ISC) niche of SAMP/YitFc (SAMP) mice |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
High-throughput RNA-seq approach was used to profile transcriptional ISC niche responses in SAMP mice versus healthy controls (AKR)
|
|
|
Overall design |
The RNA-seq transcriptional analysis was performed on ISC niche laser captured from small intestine using three independent samples (biological replicates) of each mouse group with defined total inflammatory score: ileal ISC niches from inflammation-free SAMP-5 (5-wk old) and AKR-25 (25-wk old) mice, and from highly diseased SAMP-25 mice (25-wk old) with Crohn's disease-like ileitis.
