Summary RNAseq was carried out to compare the gene expression profiles underlying the Ag and SiO2 toxicities on C. elegans.
 
Overall design C. elegans worms were exposed to silver (Ag) or silicon dioxide (SiO2) nanoparticles (at 10 µg/ml concentration) and RNAseq was performed to understand the biological effects of the nanoparticles on the worm at gene level.
