Title |
Inhibition of YAP in human HCC cells |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by array
|
Summary |
In vertebrates, the evolutionary conserved Hippo pathway fine-tunes organ size under physiological conditions such as tissue regeneration through the transcriptional regulation of pro-proliferative and anti-apoptotic genes. Here we want to identify downstream effectors of YAP, which is the most important transcriptional activator of this pathway.

Overall design |
Nonsense/Scrambled siRNA-transfected and gene-specific siRNAs (YAP1, YAP2) were transently transfected in HepG2 cells (20 nM each). Total mRNA was extracted 24 hours after transfection.
