Title |
RNA-Sequencing of human dermal lymphatic endothelial cells (HDLEC) treated with siRNA targeting YAP/TAZ and YAP5SA |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
We analyzed genome-wide transcriptional changes induced by siYAP/TAZ and YAP5SA, using RNA-seq analysis of HDLECs in order to highlight the importance of Hippo/YAP signaling pathway in lymphatic development and maintenance. Here, we report that YAP/TAZ activity is essential for the appropriate lymphatic development and maintenance.

Overall design |
Examination of siRNAs treated to HDLEC to analyze the effect of YAP and TAZ knockdown. Three different siRNAs were evaluated for knockdown efficiency, and the most efficient one was used for quadraple samples included in this series. Effect of YAP5SA overexpression was confirmed with YAP/TAZ target gene enrichment.
