Title MicroRNA Regulation in Blood Cells of Renal Transplanted Patients with Interstitial Fibrosis/Tubular Atrophy and Antibody-Mediated Rejection
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Non-coding RNA profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary We performed small RNA-Seq and compared expression levels of microRNAs of whole blood cells isolated from patients after kidney transplantation with stable graft function (SGF), antibody-mediated rejection (ABMR) and T cell-mediated rejection (TCMR).

Overall design Whole blood cells were isolated from 6 patients with stable graft function, 6 patients with histologically verified antibody-mediated graft rejection episode and 4 patients with histologically verified T cell-mediated graft rejection after kidney transplantation. Total RNA was extracted and cDNA libraries for small RNA sequencing were generated using "TruSeq® small RNA library Prep" kit (Illumina, San Diego, CA, USA).
