Title Effect of estrogen (E2) treatment on the C4-12 relative to the MCF7 cells
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary To confirm the effect of estrogen, through the estrogen receptor, on cell cycle progression and to identify the key molecules that play an important role in this regulation, MCF-7aro (ER+ cell line) and C4-12ERaERE (ER lacking cell line stably transfected with ERaERE) were used for RNAseq analysis. Processed data includes new data for C4-12 samples as well as re-processed data from SRP035276.

Overall design 6 new C4-12 samples were analyzed (3 control and 3 E2 treated). Same design as for subset of MCF7aro SRP035276 re-processed samples, in addition to Paroxetine and Paroxetine+E2 treatments.
