Title |
Comparative Transcriptomic Analysis of Dermal Wound Healing Reveals De Novo Skeletal Muscle Regeneration in Acomys cahirinus |
Organisms |
Acomys cahirinus; Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
This project is a comprehensive analysis of gene expression following full-thickness excisional dermal wounds in the African spiny mouse and the laboratory mouse.
|
|
|
Overall design |
8mm excisional wounds were made on the dorsal skin. Wounds were harvested on day 7 and 14 after wounding. Normal, unwounded (day 0) skin was used as a control. N=4 for each time point for each species. 2x150 bp paired-end reads. DSN library was equal amounts of all Acomys samples, pooled, and normalized using duplex-specific nuclease. The 'Mus_Day-0_rep3' sample was removed from downstream analysis due to poor QC results, and is not included here.
