Title |
The subiculum is a patchwork of discrete subregions |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Subiculum pyramidal cells constitute a prominent output neuron class of the hippocampus. Here, we examined diversity in this cell type using single-cell RNA-seq.

|
Overall design |
Examination of subiculum pyramidal cell transcriptomes.
Please note that there are total 28 samples from scRNA-seq, representing Read 1 and Read 2 of 14 datasets. The metadata.txt (with 1344 rows) contains the information on each well (96 well plate) for the 14 datasets (1344 = 96 X 14). For the combinedTables.txt, the analysis only retained wells that were not control wells (e.g., not empty, not spike-in as annotated in metadata.txt as such), resulted in 1190 cells (included in the further analysis after removing these wells). The column headers/names represent the original dataset they emerged from.
