Title |
Gene expression changes in human iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes after X-ray irradiation |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Within the present study we evaluated hiPSC-CMs as a possible methodological extension for the assessment of organ specific responses to ionizing radiation regarding gene expression changes. We aimed to review the feasibility of hiPSC-CMs as a valid testing model for gene expression changes and to determine alterations within the gene expression pattern of hiPSC-CMs after exposure to X-ray radiation, subsequently.
