Arrays were produced by the Swegene DNA micro array resource center at Lund University by using amplified cDNA targets from Research Genetics clones. Target amplification was performed using PCR and cDNA products were verified by agarose gel electrophoresis and purified by size-exclusion filtration. After purification, cDNA was recovered in water, adjusted to 50% DMSO and printed on amino-silane-coated glass slides (UltraGAPS from Corning) using a MicroGrid2 robot (BioRobotics) equipped with MicroSpot2500 pins (BioRobotics).
