Severe influenza A infection: whole blood

Analysis of whole blood (WB) from critically ill influenza and bacterial pneumonia patients for up to 5 days, and WB from before and 7 days post-influenza vaccination volunteers. Results provide insight into the role of host response in influencing disease progression in influenza A infection.
