Description

This variant is present in population databases (no rsID available, gnomAD 0.0009%). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with TSEN54-related conditions. For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This sequence change creates a premature translational stop signal (p.Arg202Glufs*9) in the TSEN54 gene. It is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in TSEN54 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 18711368, 20952379).
