Description

The c.3105_3113+28dup37 variant results from a duplication of 37 nucleotide(s) within and after coding exon 10 of the PALB2 gene. This nucleotide region is not well conserved in available vertebrate species. Using the BDGP and ESEfinder splice site prediction tools, this alteration does not have any significant effect on the native donor splice site; however, direct evidence is unavailable. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
