Description

The c.527-6T>G variant in EDA has not been previously reported in individuals wi th X-linked hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia (XLHED). Data from large populatio n studies is insufficient to assess the frequency of this variant. This variant is located in the 3' splice region. Computational tools do not provide strong ev idence for or against an impact to splicing. In summary, the clinical significan ce of the c.627-6T>G variant is uncertain.
