Description

a variant of uncertain significance was detected in the PALB2 gene (c.995T>A).This missense variant replaces leucine with histidine at codon 332 of the PALB2 protein.ClinVar contains an entry for this variant (Variation ID: 143019) with five submitter as uncertain significant .This variant has also been identified in 5/250756 chromosomes in the general population by the Genome Aggregation Database (gnomAD). Computational prediction suggests that this variant may not impact protein structure and function . This variant has been reported in individuals affected with breast cancer (PMID: 35402282, 25186627).
