Effects on Lactation and Breastmilk
Relevant published information on nursing mothers was not found as of the revision date. Ropinirole lowers serum prolactin. It has successfully been used clinically to reduce prolactin levels in women with hyperprolactinemia with relief of galactorrhea.[1,2] The prolactin level in a mother with established lactation may not affect her ability to breastfeed.
