Description |
Blood samples from 10 male patients, aging between 18-65 years, diagnosed with schizophrenia and treated with Risperidone were used for total RNA extraction. Study protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Hospital, and performed in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. A two-round linear amplification procedure based on T7-driven amplification was carried out. Amplified RNA was then used in a transcriptase reverse reaction into cDNA in the presence of Alexa 555 or Alexa 647. Dye swap was performed for each sample analyzed and used as replicate samples.
