Title Expression data from Hela cells treated with IHSF115, an inhibitor of HSF1.
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by array
Summary IHSF115 induces a transcriptomic response that resembles but is not identical with a typical heat stress response.
The data suggest that mRNAs of a number of genes, most notably including histone genes, were stabilized in IHSF115-exposed cells. For the remaining genes, exposure of cells to IHSF115 apparently increased their rates of transcription.

Overall design Transcriptomic changes in cells exposed to iHSF1 were analyzed in cells exposed for 6h to vehicle (DMSO) or IHSF, by triplicate. Transcript stabilization was analyzed in cells treated for 10min with DMSO or IHSF115 and then exposed fpor 1h to actinomycin D, by duplicate.
