Study: RNA sequencing of livers and gonadal fat pads obtained from an F2 intercross mice between C57BL/6JJcl and B6.Cg-Pbwg1/1Nga (SR1) strains
show Abstracthide Abstract
B6.Cg-Pbwg1/1Nga (SR1) is a subcongenic mouse strain developed from the B6.Cg-Pbwg1 original congenic strain that has an approximately 44-Mb genomic region derived from wild Mus musculus castaneus trapped in the Philippines on the C57BL/6JJcl genetic background. Pbwg1 is a major growth QTL found in a backcross population between castaneus and C57BL/6JJcl mice and it is located on the 44-Mb introgressed region. RNA sequencing of liver and gonadal fat pad tissues was performed in a segregating F2 population obtained from an intercross between SR1 subcongenic and C57BL/6JJcl strains.
Sample: liver RNA of the (B6xSR1)F2-4D male mouse obtained from an intercross between C57BL/6JJcl and B6.Cg-Pbwg1/1Nga (SR1) strains
