show Abstracthide AbstractWe sequenced the genomes of seven species of ants in the genus Pseudomyrmex representing three species of mutualists (P. flavicornis, P. dendroicus, P. concolor) and four species of generalists (P. pallidus, P. elongatus, P. sp. PSW54, P. gracilis). The P. gracilis genome was sequenced de novo and the other six were assembled by mapping reads to the P. gracilis assembly. We undertook this project in order to study the genomic changes associated with mutualistic behavior in these ants.
