show Abstracthide AbstractThe swine genome sequencing project provides a valuable resource for further improvement of this important livestock species as meat producer and biomedical model. However, the functional annotation of pig genome is largely behind comparing with human and mouse. To fill this gap, we performed RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, and ChIP-seq for histone markers to generate a comprehensive map of transcriptomes, open chromatin regions, and regulatory elements in a variety of pig tissues from two international commercial breeds (Large White and Duroc) and two Chinese local breeds (Meishan and Enshi Black). To further explore the three dimension structure of pig genome, we performed high-throughput chromosome conformation capture (Hi-C) experiment using Large White samples.
