In this study we generated mice with constitutive deletion of microRNA Mir483, which is imprinted and expressed from the paternal allele only. Whole transcriptome analysis was performed by RNA-seq in livers collected from E18.5 fetuses (mutants with deletion of paternal allele - Mir483Pat-KO - and wild-type controls). Overall design: We performed RNA-seq analysis in E18.5 mouse livers of female fetuses with deletion of paternally-expressed microRNA Mir483 (n=5 biological replicates) and wild-type littermate controls (n=5 biological replicates)

Quantity and quality of RNA were assessed using an Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer and RNA 6000 Nano Kits (Agilent – 5067-1511) 500 ng total RNA per sample was used to prepare libraries using Illumina's TruSeq RNA Library kit, according to manufacturer's protocol.
