Study: The reprogrammation of the estrogen and androgen responses in murine prostate cancer
show Abstracthide Abstract
The first aim of the study was to identify the genes regulated by the estrogen receptor alpha (ERa) in the normal mouse prostate, with and without the co-activation of the androgen receptor. The second objective was to decipher the changes in the estrogen and androgen responses in a tumoral context from prostate cancer-developping mice. Overall design: Sixteen normal prostate and 14 prostate cancer from mice have been collected, and treated with either Vehicle (control), 17ß-Estradiol, Testosterone or a combination of both 17ß-Estradiol and Testosterone. There were at least three replicates per condition, and samples were sequenced using Illumina NovaSeq 6000.
Sample: Prostate cancer, Estradiol + Testosterone, rep 4
