SRX24226801: WGS of Equus przewalskii: cell pellets
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina NovaSeq 6000) run: 206.4M spots, 62.3G bases, 18.7Gb downloads

Design: Genomic DNAs were sheared into 350 bp fragments with a Covaris S220 Ultrasonicator (Covaris, Woburn, MA). DNA fragments were used to generate genomic libraries using the TruSeq DNA PCR-free library kit (Illumina, San Diego, CA)

Study: Endangered Przewalski's horse cloned from historically cryopreserved cells
show Abstracthide Abstract
Two endangered Przewalski's horse stallions were cloned from fibroblast cells cultured and cryopreserved in 1980. These stallions are clones of a male that lived from 1975-1998 that pedigree analyses identified as a genetically-valuable male for present-day conservation breeding. The study includes analyses of whole genome sequencing data generated from the first cloned Przewalski's horse, named Kurt, the donor cell line used to create the clone, from a stallion named Kuporovitch, and three unrelated Przewalski's horse individuals.
