SRX24018154: DArT-Seq of Apis cerana: adult male
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2500) run: 782,949 spots, 47.8M bases, 18.3Mb downloads

Design: DArT-Seq was performed using the DArT-Seq Platform (DArT PL, Canberra, NSW, Australia) according to the manufacturer's protocol (https://www.diversityarrays.com/). Briefly, DNA from whole drones was extracted using the phenol/chloroform method. Reduced representation libraries were generated from this DNA at DArT using Pstl-Msel restriction enzyme adaptors, followed by sequencing on Illumina HiSeq2500.

Study: Evolutionary ecology of invasive Apis cerana
show Abstracthide Abstract
This study investigated spatial patterns in genetic diversity of an expanding invasive population of the Asian honey bee (Apis cerana) in Australia, to understand eco-evolutionary processes that occur at population range edges.
