show Abstracthide AbstractThe goal of this study was to test whether the difference in biogeography affects the host-fungus compatibility in ectomycorrhizal association. In this study, the colonization ability of ectomycorrhizal fungi, that are naturally associated with Quercus serrata, on two Japanese (Castanopsis sieboldii and Pinus thunbergii) and two exotic (Eucalyptus globulus and E. camaldulensis) tree species were evaluated using inoculation test.
