Study: RNA-seq of immortalized dermal papilla cells
show Abstracthide Abstract
Testosterone signaling induces various diseases such as androgenetic alopecia. Testosterone is mediated by androgen receptor (AR) which binds to Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and these complexes acted as a transcription factor. Minoxidil have an effect on vasodilation and is expected to increase hair growth. However, the difference among their gene expression profiles is still unclear. We have established immortalized human dermal papilla cells using the K4DT method which includes combinatorial expression of R24C mutant CDK4, cyclin D1, and TERT. Here, we analyzed the gene expression of different types of immortalized cells : K4DT, K4DT-AR, K4DT-AR-DHT, K4DT-AR-DHT-mino, K4DT-DHT.
