show Abstracthide AbstractWe perform the integrative taxonomic revision of Ethiopian Otomys by using the largest available sets of genomic and morphological data. By using genome-scale SNPs (from ddRAD sequencing of the material collected across EH) we analysed nuclear phylogeny and delimited genomic pools (= putative species) in Ethiopian Otomys. Finally, we used genetically characterized specimens, analysed their morphological variation and ecological requirements (e.g., preferred elevation and habitat). This integrative approach allowed us to improve the taxonomy of endemic Ethiopian species of Otomys and to update the knowledge of their distribution, habitat requirements and evolutionary history.
