Aneuploidy with loss and/or gain of individual chromosomes from normal complement of one species disrupts the genome balance, which perturbs the genome-wide gene expression and leads to changes in phenotype. To assess gene expression changes in aneuploidy plants, we compared the transcriptomes of two rapeseed-radish addition lines (2n=40, AACC + 2R) with those of two parents (Brassica napus, 2n=38, AACC; Raphanus sativus, 2n=18, RR).
