SRX24276326: Whole genome sequencing of Fusarium sambucinum: from diseased Humulus lupulus
1 PACBIO_SMRT (Sequel II) run: 9.2M spots, 159.1G bases, 37.3Gb downloads

Design: Library preparation utilized native DNA templates for sequencing and did not include amplification techniques. Standard whole genome sequencing library preparation methods were used due to high quantity and quality of gDNA extracted from fungal tissue.

The Fusarium sambucinum genome deposited is related to a project investigating the population biology of the pathogen as a causal agent of Fusarium canker of hop. Genome of isolates derived from various hosts and geographic regions will be deposited under this project. The first genome deposited under this project was assembled and annotated to act as a reference genome for the larger goal of elucidating population dynamics of Fusarium sambucinum in the Pacific Northwest, giving much needed updated information about this important pathogen.
