Design: Genomic DNA was extracted and fragmented, followed by end-repair and A-tailing. Adapters were ligated to the fragments, and size selection was conducted to obtain appropriately sized fragments. The library was then PCR-amplified, purified, and quantified. Finally, the library's quality was verified before proceeding to high-throughput sequencing, ensuring an unbiased representation of the genome for analysis.

RNA-seq was performed to dissect the global transcriptional adaptations in D. odorifera leaflets under single and combined stresses. The transcriptomic assay involved RNA extraction and sequencing and data processing and analysis. It was performed with four replicates of fresh mature leaves from the top of a plant.
