show Abstracthide AbstractNeodiprion lecontei is a hypermetamorphic and sexually dimorphic insect that feeds on various pines in North America. This project includes mRNA-seq data from head and body tissues from distinct male larval stages as well as antennae, mouth, head (minus antennae and mouth), leg, thorax, and genital reads of adult males and females. Study goals include transcriptome-wide comparisons between stages, tissues, and sexes. Data users are expected to allow the data producers to publish the first paper with global analyses of the data.
