SRX843246: Spleen sample from a male and female pig-tailed macaque.: Sample Pigtailedmacaque_Spleen_1
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2000) run: 58.8M spots, 11.9G bases, 7.5Gb downloads

Design: "The total RNA-Seq libraries were constructed using the Illumina TruSeq Stranded Total RNA Sample Prep Kit with Ribo-Zero Gold (catalog #RS-122-2201), which targets RNA for cDNA synthesis. This kit uses Ribo-Zero to remove rRNA prior to library preparation. Whole blood samples were additionally globin-depleted (prepared using the TruSeq Stranded Total RNA with Ribo-Zero Globin kit from Illumina. The libraries were quality controlled for appropriate mass and insert size (also for evidence of DNA contamination) and quantitated using the BioAnalyzer 2100 system and qPCR (Kapa Biosystems, Woburn, MA)."
