Design: RNA was prepared from frozen tissues using the method of Gasic et al [Plant Molecular Biology Reporter Dec 2004 Vol 22 Issue 4, pp 437-438) and further purified using a commercial kit (Qiagen RNAeasy). Library preparation utilized Illumina TruSeq RNA Sample Prep Kit v2 protocols and reagents, with multiplex adapters.
