Design: Total RNA was extracted from 34 day old leaf tissue using an RNeasy Plant Mini Kit (Qiagen). Sequencing libraries were prepared from oligo-dT purified RNA using the Illumina TruSeq library preparation protocol. Sequencing was performed in a 1x50bp single end format using HiSeq Rapid SBS reagents. Base calling was done by Illumina Real Time Analysis (RTA) V1.18.64 and output of RTA was demultiplexed and converted to FastQ format with Illumina Bcl2fastq v1.8.4.
