SRX1740640: N. attenuata root untreated 2 h replicate 1 transcriptome
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2500) run: 21.6M spots, 4.3G bases, 2.4Gb downloads

Design: XXXXXs from seedling stage Nicotiana attenuata wild type plants were harvested as controls 2 h after starting the experiment. RNA was isolated.
Submitted by: Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology
Study: Nicotiana attenuata Root Transcriptome
show Abstracthide Abstract
Nicotiana attenuata has been used to study plant-organism interactions (e.g. insect herbivores, pollinators and pathogenic microorganisms) for more than 20 years. A large amount of adaptive biochemical and morphological plasticity responses to environmental signals are known. Here we aim to detect changes in transcriptional patterns with and without smoke treatment.
Sample: Root material from seedling stage Nicotiana attenuata wild type plants (no smoke treatment) harvested after 2 h, used for RNA sequencing.
