Design: Total RNA of twenty 7-day-old larvae of pea aphid LSR1 was extracted using RNeasy Mini Kit (Qiagen). Resulting total RNA was treated with DNase using DNA Free Kit (Ambion). RNA quality and integrity was verified using a bioanalyzer 2100 (Agilent). Library construction was conducted using illumina mRNA sequencing sample preparation kit by Cornell University Life Sciences Core Laboratories Center. RNA-seq sequencing was performed using illumina GA II by Cornell University Life Sciences Core Laboratories Center.
