Design: The AGF community in the sample was amplified using the primer pair (AGF-LSU-EnvS For: 5-GCGTTTRRCACCASTGTTGTT-3, AGF-LSU-EnvS Rev: 5-GTCAACATCCTAAGYGTAGGTA-3) targeting a ~370 bp region of the LSU rRNA gene (corresponding to the D2 domain). Amplicons were cleaned, quantified, indexed (Nexterra XT v2), pooled, and sequenced on Illumina MIseq platform.
