Two different pumpkin genotypes, Cucurbita maxima and Cucurbita moschata. Some C. maxima genotypes had higher leaf Na+ accumulation and salt tolerance than C. moschata, showing a typical tissue tolerance.Transcriptome analysis of different tissues ( Leaf Vein and Leaf Mesophyll ) were conducted to reveal the molecular mechanism involved in tissue salt tolerance in C. maxima.
