SRX1041308: RNA sequencing analysis of L. cylindrica: browning sensivtive cultivar
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2000) run: 26.2M spots, 5.2G bases, 3.4Gb downloads

Design: The L. cylindrica plants grown in a greenhouse were collected at 9 days post pollination (DAP). The randomized complete block design with three replicates was used. For each replicate, the fruits were collected from at least 5 different plants. The fruits samples were carefully peeled and the pulps were combined and immediately freezed in liquid nitrogen and kept at -70 ºC for RNA extraction. Total RNA was prepared from fruit samples using RNeasy plant mini kit according to the manufacturer’s guidance. The total RNA samples were pooled into one sample for each cultivar and 10 µg of total RNA was used for mRNA isolation. cDNA library preparation and sequencing reactions were conducted using the Solexa paired-end sequencing technology at the OE Biotech Co. Ltd (Shanghai, China).
