Study: Phylogeny of Liverwort (Marchantiophyta) based on plastid genomic data
show Abstracthide Abstract
Liverworts as the one third lineages of bryophytes, reconstructing the backbone relationships of liverworts of the plastid genome (plastome) is a crucial task to improve our understanding of the evelution of land plants. In this study, 141 plastid genomes samples of the liverwort were newly sequenced, representing 129 species, 56 families and 13 orders, besides, 135 plastid genomic data were downloaded from GenBank, a concatenated dataset of 88 plastid protein-coding genes from representatives of 222 species, 67 families and 15 orders liverworts was analyzed.
