<i>Oryza nivara</i> is a wild rice found in India. It has an AA genome. Breeders are interested in this organism because it exhibits resistance to grassy stunt virus. Two libraries were produced. A 19X coverage BAC library was used to generate an FPC map. A shotgun library of randomly sheared DNA was used to generate sequence for repetitive DNA analysis.
