SRX1014625: Whole-genome sequence of Desulfocarbo indianensis SCBM, a new genus of sulfate reducing bacteria
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina MiSeq) run: 4.1M spots, 2G bases, 1.2Gb downloads

Design: The paired-end library was made using Illumina TruSeq. The genome was sequenced using an Illumina MiSeq sequencer with a 320 and 200 paired-end run.

Desulfocarbo indianensis SCBM is a vibrio-shaped, polarly-flagellated, Gram-negative, motile and strictly anaerobic sulfate-reducing bacterium isolated from water extracted from a coal bed in Indiana, USA. To understand its physiological properties and metabolic capacity, the whole genome of strain SCBM was sequenced, assembled, and annotated.
