SRX10857639: Shotgun sequencing of water sample from a Patagonian fjord (marine metagenome): 5 meters deep

Design: We filtered 40L of 5-meter deep marine sample from Comau fjord through a 0.22 micron tangential filtration to capture bacterial cells. Then, we extracted DNA from the 0.22 concentrate through phenol-chloroform DNA extraction methodology, using Xanthogenate buffer for lysis step. Sequencing library were prepared using Illumina TruSeq DNA PCR-Free kit, following its sample preparation guide.
