The <a href="http://www.hgsc.bcm.tmc.edu/projects/microbial/Aapis/">Baylor College of Medicine</a> sequenced the genome of <i>Ascosphaera apis</i> strain USDA-ARSEF 7405 at 4X coverage using whole genome shotgun (WGS) sequencing. The <i>Ascosphaera apis</i> genome is approximately 24 Mb in size.
