SRX15418073: RNA-Seq of Ocean Station PAPA epipelagic bacterial community
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 4000) run: 9.9M spots, 3G bases, 1.1Gb downloads

Design: RNA was extracted with Mirvana kit, with contaminating DNA degraded with Turbo DNase kit. Metatranscripome libraries were generated from these RNA samples using Ovation Complete Prokaryotic RNA-Seq kit and sequenced with Illumina HiSeq 4000.

show Abstracthide Abstract
Bacterial metagenome, metatranscriptome, and metagenome assembled genome data collected at (1) Station PAPA in the Northeastern Pacific High Nutrient Low Chlorophyll (HNLC) zone in August and September 2018 for stage 1 of the NASA EXPORTS project, and (2) the Porcupine Abyssal Plain (PAP) Station in the Northern Atlantic in May 2021 for stage 2 of the NASA EXPORTS project.
Sample: 0.22-5.0um fraction metatranscriptome from Station PAPA, from same CTD cast and depth as FN238 metagenome sequence
