Design: Total gDNA was extracted from cultures of Stachyamoeba lipophora ATCC 50324 using the QIAGEN Genomic G20 Kit. A sequencing library was made using a TruSeq DNA Library Prep Kit (Illumina). Culturing, DNA isolation, sequencing, and assembly was performed by B. Franz Lang (Department of Biochemistry, Université de Montréal, Montreal, Canada).
